Teacher of Biology - Pennsauken Campus

Requirements:      

    1.  Must possess or be eligible for a valid New Jersey Teacher of Biological Science, or Certificate of Eligibility.

2. Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable.
3. Demonstrated knowledge in certificated area and effective teaching methods.
4. Thorough knowledge of New Jersey Student Learning Standards.
5. Thorough knowledge and familiarity with instructional technologies.
6. Ability to maintain a safe, secure and caring learning environment.
7. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
8. Ability to communicate with parents/guardians.
9. Successfully undergo a criminal history check and proof of U.S. citizenship or legal resident alien status.
10. Meets the health qualifications required of all personnel.
11. Meets NJ residency requirements or willingness to relocate to NJ within 365 days of employment.
12. Must follow the guidelines of the Camden County Technical Schools’ Nepotism Policy, File Code: 0142.1.

Salary is based on education, experience and/or military service according to the Board of Education of the Camden County Technical Schools and Cam/Voc Education Association Agreement Salary Guide - $57,073-$91,799.

Position:    Full-Time, 10-month position; plus a sign-on bonus of up to $5,000 to the hired candidate for this position.
