Summer Curriculum Writer Position

K-3 Math Enrichment Menus

Hours Required: 50 hours of curriculum writing. 

Start/End Date: June 19, 2026 - August 31, 2026. 

Qualifications: 

• Certified Teacher in the State of New Jersey
• Experience with QSAC requirements and Mathematics curriculum.
• Ability to work cooperatively with a team of teachers and administrators and implement feedback and revisions required until the curriculum meets expectations.
• Ability to meet curriculum deadlines.
• Google Documents formatting skills. 

Reports To:  Supervisor of Math

Job Goal:  Gather and organize materials for the new middle school math program. Completed draft of curriculum due July     24, 2026 or sooner with revisions and feedback to continue until the August BOE meeting. 

Performance Responsibilities: 

• Read NJDOE documents on required changes to curriculum.
• Conduct curriculum needs assessment.
• Review and meet with the curriculum director.
• Turnkey/coach staff on new changes and best practices.
• Revise or create curriculum. 

Evaluations: 

Performance of this job will be evaluated annually in accordance with the Board of Education. Stipend per negotiated contract.
