High School Vice Principal

Saint Vincent Academy is seeking a High School Vice Principal.

Qualifications:

• Proven record of instructional leadership and improved student achievement.
• Ability to provide administrative leadership and support to the high school principal.
• Ability to provide an optimal learning environment within the school.
• Ability to communicate openly and effectively with administration, staff, students and community (Verbal/Written).
• Five years experience in School Administration and/or a degree in Educational Leadership

 Responsibilities include:

• The primary goal for the Assistant Principal is to assist in the development and implementation of instructional programs, initiatives and services that ensure student achievement and success.
• Assists in providing professional leadership to organize, administer, supervises and evaluate an effective school program.
• Serves as instructional support for assigned departments as designated by the principal.
• Serves as an evaluator and conducts classroom observations and teacher evaluations as assigned by the principal.
• Promotes staff development activities for the faculty aimed and increasing student achievement.
• Takes an active role in the general management and supervision of the school.
• Works collaboratively in maintaining a positive school culture.
• Works with students and parents in matters of discipline.
