Job Description: 
Millville Public Schools is seeking a dynamic Vice Principal/Early Childhood Supervisor to join our team at Child Family Center! As a vital member of our administrative team, the Vice Principal/ECS will play a crucial role in maintaining a positive and supportive learning environment for our students and staff. 


Key Responsibilities: 

  • Assist the principal with observations and staff evaluations.
  • Observe classroom instruction & teachers in the teaching situation and prepare evaluation reports on both tenured & non-tenured teachers.
  • Evaluate, with principals & teachers, the effectiveness of the curriculum & instructional materials.
  • Interpret curriculum & instructional changes to the staff & the community providers.
  • Plan & conduct staff development activities to facilitate the continuous development of staff members & the improvement of instruction.
  • Assist in the selection of the teaching staff by participating in the recruiting, screening & interviewing processes.
  • Assist principal, upon request, in the assignment of work schedules for teachers, budget items, etc.
  • Assist with the preparation of all State & special education reports.
  • Assist principal in the development of short & long-range goals of the preschool program & primary grades curriculum.
  • Work with principal on registration procedures
  • Collaborate with Child Study Team & special education teachers regarding placements, supports & transition issues.
  • All other related duties as required related to the Early Childhood Program (PK-3) in Millville. 


Qualifications:

  • NJ Principal/Supervisor Certificate required
  • Master's degree required
  • Minimum of (3) years' experience in Early Childhood Education 


Salary Range: $88,000.-$110,000. (Salary is contingent on experience)
