High School Science Teacher - Biology - Full-Time

Timothy Christian School has an opening for a full-time High School Biology Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year. We are seeking enthusiastic, energetic, collegial individuals who want to work in a collaborative academic setting.

Under the general supervision of the High School Principal, the teacher will develop students' skills and competence in the field of Biology. The successful candidate will:

• Promote critical and creative thinking and analysis in all related subject areas. Promotes a classroom environment that is safe and conducive to individualized and small group instruction, and student learning.
• Designs learning activities to demonstrate the application of science to everyday existence, including scientific research projects, demonstrations, experiments, and laboratory activities.
• The teacher must have received Jesus Christ as his/her Savior and believe that the Bible is God’s Word and standard for daily living. 
• The teacher will strive to equip students to live productive, God-glorifying lives through the implementation of the school’s curriculum.  Most importantly, the teacher serves as the living curriculum by acting as a godly role model in Christian thought and action.  The teacher, in partnership with parents, will utilize various methods of instruction and assessment to enable students to learn.

Job Type: Full-Time with benefits

Minimum required education: Bachelors Degree
