TITLE:              Extended Day Assistant Child Caregiver
                         (High School Student Applicants Only)

SALARY:          $16.50

QUALIFICATIONS: 
        
                         Demonstrated ability to work successfully with children and adults
                         Good physical health
                         Ability to perform assigned duties
                         Able to pass the criminal history review and S414.
             
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
 

• Assist the supervision of students attending the before and after care program.
• Treat accidents or injuries following EDC procedures.
• Attend meetings and training programs as required by the site supervisor..
• Assist with indoor and outdoor activities.
• Assume responsibility for storage and maintenance of play equipment.
• Maintain a system for orderly distribution of breakfast/snack, disposal of food waste, return of trays and utensils.
• Assist students with toileting, feeding and ambulating skills as needed.
• Inform the site supervisor of student or parent concerns, accidents, illnesses, building safety concerns, emergencies.
• Interact positively with all students, parents, and staff.
• Perform other duties and tasks as assigned by the Special Projects Manager.
