Full-Time Position

 

Union County Educational Services Commission is a public school district in Westfield, NJ, that was established to provide cost-effective educational programs and services for the twenty-one school districts in Union County.  The Commission is seeking a hard-working, experienced and responsible Head School Custodian to perform all activities that are custodial in nature and deemed appropriate by the Building and Grounds Supervisor and the Business Administrator .

 

Description: 

* Available: Immediately
* Full-Time, 12-Month Position (Monday-Friday)
* Salary: $45,000-$60,000 (based on experience)

* Hours: 6 am-3 pm

QUALIFICATIONS: 
 
1. Possesses a high school diploma or equivalent training/experience.
2. Has previous experience in custodial-type work.
3. Holds a valid State of New Jersey driver's license for Board of Education vehicles.
4. Possesses a New Jersey Black Seal Low Pressure Boiler License or can qualify for
such within one year of employment and maintain this license thereafter yearly.
5. Is in good health and able to meet the demands of the position, including, but not limited
to being able to lift a minimum of 75 pounds.
6. Successfully completes required criminal history and proof of U.S. citizenship or legal
resident status.
7. Effective communication skills.
