(English Language Learner) Elementary School Teacher

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Valid New Jersey Substitute Cert., Instructional Certificate or Eligibility and Subject Area Endorsement

2. Successful completion of fingerprinting and criminal history review process.

            Successful candidates must:

• Provide and teach language instruction to English Learners (ELs) using a variety of instructional strategies
• Provide professional learning for colleagues specific to the needs of ELs
• Modify and adapt lessons to meet the needs of all ELs
• Build relationships within school community (parents, guardians, and community stakeholders)
• Actively participate in professional learning
• Use data to improve instruction, student growth, and achievement
• Experience working in an effective inclusion and/or co-teaching classroom
• Working knowledge of WIDA ELD standards in order to differentiate instruction

TERM OF EMPLOYMENT:  10-Month

SALARY:  $55,791-$61,626
