TEACHER OF COMPUTER SCIENCE ENGINEERING
MCVTS Academy for Science, Math and Engineering Technology
The Board of Education of Middlesex County Vocational and Technical High School is currently accepting applications for the position of Computer Science Engineering for the 2021-2022 school year. This is an annual ten-month, daytime, academy high school teaching position with other duties as assigned by the Principal or designee. Salary based on MCVTS salary guide.
Candidates should have experience that may include computing applications, programming, software development, and network design or system administration. Candidates must demonstrate the ability to inspire and prepare highly motivated secondary students for entry into competitive postsecondary IT and/or Engineering pathways. This position requires NJ Career and Technical Education Teacher certification in Computer Science Technology (4148) or Electronics Technology (4174). Applicants that do not already possess an NJ CTE Certificate of Eligibility in either area are encouraged to apply.

The district can assist a qualified candidate to obtain the appropriate NJ CTE Certificate of Eligibility (CE) and enrollment in an on-the-job Alternate Route teaching program as needed. More information on NJ CTE Teacher certification can be found at www.nj.gov/education/license/cte
