NJSchoolJobs.com Hits the Road to Help Future Educators Launch Their Careers
9/16/2026
NJSchoolJobs.com is hitting the road next week and we’re excited to meet the next generation of New Jersey educators!
We’ll be traveling across the state to visit several New Jersey colleges and universities, presenting our “Landing a Job in New Jersey Schools” workshop to education majors who are preparing to move from the college classroom into their professional careers.
Our college tour begins Monday, September 21, at Kean University’s Union campus. On Wednesday, September 23, we’ll visit students at Georgian Court University and Kean University at Ocean County College. We’ll finish the week on Thursday, September 24, at Rowan University.
From College Student to Job Candidate
Landing that first position in education is exciting, but knowing where to begin can be challenging. That’s where we come in.
Our “Landing a Job in New Jersey Schools” workshop gives future educators practical, real-world guidance they can use as they prepare to enter the job market. We’ll talk about creating resumes and cover letters that get noticed, finding school employment opportunities, preparing for interviews, building a professional presence, and understanding what New Jersey school districts are looking for in their candidates. And because NJSchoolJobs.com works with school employers throughout New Jersey, we can offer students something especially valuable: a look at the hiring process from both sides of the table.
Building the Next Generation of New Jersey Educators
For more than 27 years, NJSchoolJobs.com has been connecting talented candidates with New Jersey schools. Visiting colleges and working directly with future educators is a natural extension of that mission. We don't just want to help candidates find job postings. We want to help them become stronger job candidates. By meeting education majors before they begin their professional job search, we have an opportunity to answer their questions, share what we've learned from working with New Jersey school districts, and help them approach the hiring process with greater knowledge and confidence.
We’re looking forward to a great week with the students and faculty at Kean University, Georgian Court University, and Rowan University and hopefully helping some future New Jersey educators take their first steps toward landing that first job!
