QUALIFICATIONS:  

48 college credits or, an associates degree or 2 years of college or passed the 
state Title 1 paraprofessional test.
(not required for internal candidates)

Good organizational and communication skills
The ability to multi-task
Ability to assist students in all major subject areas.


Specific skills required:  Needed to fulfill role as job coach-supporting
students while on job site.
Specific skills preferred:  Job coaching; training will be provided.
Extra duty assignments:  A determined by needs of special education department

WORK HOURS:  8:00 AM TO 2:30 PM
SALARY:  $9.07/HOUR EDUCATIONAL ASSISTANT
(as negotiated with EACH bargaining unit)
