Description: Interim Director of Special Services


Qualifications: 
  • New Jersey Principal Certification
  • A minimum of five years’ experience as a Child Study Team Member or Special Education Teacher or Student Services position
  • Special Education experience in administration or alternatives that the Superintendent and Board may find appropriate
  • Demonstrated expertise and knowledge of special education law, code and guidelines
  • Oversee the district special education programs, child study team, and school nursing services
  • Responsible for supporting completion of state and federal reporting, IDEA, and SEMI
  • Primary responsibility for all child find activities and community outreach programs
  • Familiar with Frontline and Genesis platforms preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
