POSITION: Full Time Custodian 12 month-Night Shift (Sept-June) Day Shift (July-Aug)

The Berlin Township School District, located in Camden County, New Jersey, is seeking qualified candidates for employment.
- Perform routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting in classrooms, offices, hallways, and common areas.
- Empty trash receptacles and recycling bins and ensure proper disposal of waste.
- Clean and sanitize restroom facilities, including toilets, sinks, and fixtures.
- Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies and restroom amenities as needed.
- Assist with minor maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs and repairing fixtures.
- Conduct periodic inspections to identify maintenance issues and safety hazards
- Previous experience in custodial or janitorial work preferred.
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and sanitation.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Effective communication skills and a positive attitude.
- Salary commensurate with experience
- Hours 3pm to 11pm Monday-Friday (Sept. to June), 7am to 5pm, Monday-Thursday (July & Aug.)
- Must be able to pass background check
- Must be willing to complete physically demanding work
