REQUIREMENTS: 
  • Military Science Certification from NJ Department of Education required.

The Neptune Township School District is seeking a highly- motivated and energetic retired officer from the Navy, Marines, or Coast Guard to fill an instructor vacancy at an established and growing unit located in Neptune, NJ, approximately 75 minutes from New York City and Philadelphia.

This is a well-established program, very active in Academic/Drill/Athletic competitions.  The unit was established in 1977. The unit is very active in the community and an integral part of the school and school district and receives outstanding support from the community, school district, and administration.

The student population is approximately 1,100 with cadet enrollment of 150 students or more for the last 10 years. Applicants must be team oriented and willing to equally share all day to day responsibilities.

The salary is Navy minimum.
