Principal- Middle School

Principal – Crockett Middle School (Grades 6-8)

Requirements:

1. NJ Principal’s Certificate Required (Standard, Provisional, or CE)
2. Minimum of five (5) years of successful teaching experience preferred;
3. Minimal (3) years administrative experience preferred;
4. Knowledge/experience with middle school best practices (for core and intervention instruction);
5. Knowledge/experience with special education continuum of services;
6. Knowledge/experience with middle school master scheduling;
7. Understanding of teacher observation/evaluation process;
8. Knowledge of Title I linked to whole school improvement;
9. Ability to manage local, state, and federal funds (school level);
10. Ability to strengthen family and community engagement;
11. Knowledge of school law, assessment accountability, and NJ Student Learning Standards;
12. Ability to work collaboratively with building and central office administration (in a large district setting).
