Description BERGEN COUNTY SPECIAL SERVICES
ANNOUNCEMENT: POSITION OPENING  

The Board of Education is seeking applications for 2024-2025 school year the following position:
 
ACCOUNTANT
(12 Months – Non-certificated)
540 Farview Avenue, Paramus
 
Qualifications:
  1. Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field.
  2. Minimum of one (1) to two (2) years’ of Accounting experience.
  3. Prior experience working in a school district’s accounting/business office – highly preferred.
  4. Familiarity with school budgeting and chart of accounts.
  5. Must be computer literate; proficient in Excel, Microsoft Office etc.
  6. Excellent communication skills.
  7. New Jersey residency required within one (1) year from date of hire.
