Interim Superintendent

The Norwood Board of Education is seeking an effective educational leader to be the Interim Superintendent of School to lead and grow our PreK-8 school district. Our District consists of one school (PK-8) and has a student population of approximately 615 students and an operating budget of approximately $14.3 million. 

Qualifications: 

• NJ School Administrator Certificate or Certificate of Eligibility required 
• Exceptional leadership skills 
• Demonstrated commitment to parent and community engagement 
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills 
• Strong Knowledge of Special Education required 
• Previous experience as a Superintendent, Assistant Superintendent, or Director of Special Services preferred 

Competitive salary and compensation package will be presented to the successful candidate. Salary is commensurate with experience and is subject to NJ State regulations. 

Position start date: July 1, 2024
