EFFECTIVE DATE:    Immediately

CERTIFICATION:   Special Education Paraprofessional

SALARY:                Based on Collective Bargaining Agreement

QUALIFICATIONS: High School Diploma required 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assisting students in achieving academic success
• Monitoring and addressing student behaviors
• Personal care for students who need assistance due to physical delays
• Social integration
• Consultation and collaboration with Special Education and Regular Education Teachers as well as related service staff
• Maintains confidentiality of student files and other professional communication
• Any and all other duties as may be assigned per the District
