Qualifications: 

• High School Diploma (high school equivalency diploma) or related work experience
• Technical certifications and/or advanced education preferred, but not required
• In accordance with the Safe Schools Against Violence in Education (SAVE) legislation, Chapter 180 of the Laws of 2000, and by the Regulations of the Commissioner of Education, candidates for appointment in school districts must obtain clearance for employment from the State Education Department prior to employment based upon a fingerprint and criminal history background check.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs. and climb stairs/ladders

Responsibilities:

• Provide first level technical support to school faculty, staff, administration and students
• Report to the District Technology Coordinator and assist with the maintenance, support, and implementation of student and staff devices, applications, and user accounts
• Assist the District Technology Coordinator with network-related tasks and projects

Schedule:

• 20-24 hours per week, 12-month 
• Some weekends/evenings may be needed occasionally for tasks/projects requiring network outage or no students in the building 

Compensation:

• $24 - $28 hourly, depending on experience
