Demonstrate the ability to communicate effectively in English, at least at an eighth-grade level, using proper grammar and vocabulary; Hold a valid driver’s license with no serious violations; Minimum of one year of previous work-related experience; Pass a physical examination in accordance with statute and Board policy; District and NJDOE requirements.
Assist the buildings and grounds department in cleaning facilities and grounds and helps to perform simple repairs to prepare, provide, and maintain a safe, attractive, and clean learning environment. Performs assignments relating to ensuring all schools and district sites are able to safely remain open and function when assigned. Any additional duties as determined by the Director of Facilities.
